I love most all Anime and Manga, especially to do with fantasy/comedy/romance/drama. I can handle -some- modern day/futuristic/mecha if there is a good story. If its just shoot smash kill no way. Not without a real story behind it. I got started watching anime when it was on USA, Sailormoon was my first taste. Then when it hit Toonami I watched that and DBZ but frankly I didn't care for DBZ.
I also love to draw and write. I roleplay in order to expand my imagination in both of the previous catagories. Some of my best stories have come from a single roleplaying character, whose history blossomed into an epic saga that is seemingly endless with all the possibilities! What more could a writer want?!
Music helps to inspire stories, and put me into a relaxing state. Celtic music speaks so close to my heart, probably due to part of my bloodline being from irish descent. It may sound really stupid to a practical mind, but there is some music that carries me away as if I was far far under the still ocean, slowly floating upward. Its still, quiet, tranquil and it never ceases to amaze me how I can feel that way in diverse music (from Celtic to Rap!) If the song is emotionally sound, it can carry me to new places.
My faith is what really carries me through. Yes, I believe in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit - Three in one trinity. I believe that I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me.(Phil. 4:13) I may not always display that, because I still go through dark places and feel less than the best. But through it all and all of my opportunities to quit, I have survived and will survive. It is only through Christ Jesus that I have come as far as I have, and no matter what happens to me, I will never deny his love, truth, or gifts he has given me. He is the ultimate hero, the knight in shining armor whose saved this damsel in distress. Together we will overcome the world.
